We had a successful opening night at the Edna Wise Theatre with Gaite Parisienne and will continue with four more shows through the weekend.   This is an opportunity to support Dance Theatre Fairbanks and the Fairbanks Community Food Bank.  Four cans of food will discount the ticket price to $5.  There is also a silent auction that will fundraise money for the 30+ dancers who are attending Dance Excellence 2011.  And of course there is a fabulous shows.  Read a synopsis in the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner article: Dance Theatre Fairbanks visits Paris at annual benefit with Gaite Parisienne

If you're in Fairbanks this weekend, come check our our new theatre.  If you've attended a previous show be prepared for some great renovations.  We have curtains and lighting now in addition to seating.  Our volunteers have worked so hard to get everything set up in time for the show.  Let's fill the seats to show our appreciation!
